Balls And All Out Now

Another edition of Balls And All was aired yesterday, with a fabulous array of national and international guests hitting the airwaves.

A huge thanks to Australian blind cricketers David Gauci and Lachlan Wallace for giving up there time and popping on to the show, and a special thanks to our awesome partially-sighted dressage rider from the UK Verity Smith for coming on and telling you all about the new Paralympic blindfold rule and how much this change has affected those in her field.

I strongly urge you to check out Verity’s short film and it would be appreciated by all blind and partially sighted dressage riders if you would take the time to sign Verity’s petition, which can be found on her change.org page.

2015 All Abilities Championships Day 4

On the final day of competition at
the 2015 All Abilities Championships,
we had an absolutely thrilling final between
Queensland Blind Cricket Association
and
South Australia Blind Cricket Association.

This was definitely one of the better matches that we’ve ever broadcast on
Blind Sports Radio,
and after a day filled with epic play, there could only be one winner.

We congratulate
South Australia Blind Cricket Association
for taking out this year’s championships and it was fabulous to see you boys win your first nationals ever.

We sincerely thank all of the clubs for so graciously allowing us to talk with all of your players and staff throughout the champs and we especially thank
Aaron Dragwidge
and numerous others from
Cricket Australia
for your assistance throughout this magnificent tournament.
