The Latest Around The Bar With Buddha Is Out

Another episode of Around The Bar With Buddha was aired last night, and what a fabulous show it was.

A huge thanks to our special guest
John Hayward,
who came on and discussed the upcoming World Blind Golf Championships starting in ten days time at
the Nelson Bay Golf Club,
which runs from the 12th of May for six days.

Why not check out
the Blind Golf Australia website
for further information on this exciting event, and of course, Blind Sports Radio will have extensive coverage online whilst the tournament is on, so make sure you check out our
on air schedule
for further details of coverage times.

A big thanks to the usual segments and their respective personalities that came on, including the soccer, rugby and AFL wraps, as well as the usual on air spots, in particular the ever popular ladies of league with
Leanne Fitzpatrick.

The Latest Balls And All Is Now Out

Another episode of Blind Sports Radio’s popular show Balls And All is now out, and it was wonderful to welcome back co-hosts
Hamish Mackenzie
Peter Loh
from their
Blind Cricket Australia
jaunt into the sub-continent.

A massive thanks for all of our guests making it such a fabulous, if not a lengthy show.

Lindsay Heaven
was the first cab off the rank, talking all things
related, as well as giving the ladies tips on moisturising techniques and tanning salon preferences.

Michael Clemens joined us as our second guest on the show, and he certainly provided us with an insightful view on where blind cricket is at in Australia and definitely didn’t pull any punches with his thoughts on what the Aussie blind cricketers need to do in order to continue improving.

Rob Christani came on and discussed all things goalball related and gave a decisive wrap on the Aussie Invitational Championships held last weekend in Sydney, as well as a full run-down on other tournaments going on overseas.

Our final guest was
Stephen Guerra,
secretary of
The National Beep Baseball Association,
who had everyone enthrawled telling us all about the great sport of beep baseball, and there’s no doubt that the panel will go about, by hook or by crook, getting the equipment down from Canberra so that we can give this magnificent sport a try.
